CRUISES ONLY FROM UK PORTS

  Cruises from the UK have never been so popular. The latest market figures
  show that more British cruisers than ever before are taking voyages which sail
  only from local ports.Four out of every ten cruises booked by brits now sail
  from a UK Port.A record number of cruise lines ships and passengers visited uk
  ports last year, as part of longer sailings around Northern Europe . The
  Mediterranean Cruise remains the favourite cruise destination, but voyages to
  Northern Europe have become more popular and risen to second place
  overtaking the Caribbean Cruise.

Southampton is easily the most established and largest port, and this is where most cruise ships are based during the year, some are here year round. Most Mediterranean cruises depart from Southampton along with Transatlantic voyages. Dover is the second most popular having grown rapidly over the last few years.Cruise lines tend to depart dover for Northern Europe, Baltic and Artic Sailings.
